Hi- I’m a single mother of a four-year old boy and was interested in setting up a group of mom that can be a network of support to each other. Whether we find ourselves working from home, balancing work or looking for a job, having a strong support team helps. This is open to single-moms of young children or open to other women interested in joining. Meetings can be either virtual or in-person at first. We would definitely be more involved than just a Facebook posting group. Play dates for the kids would be an activity we can take part in as well as other activities such as me-time, exercise, etc. Here in the area, there aren’t many groups like this and I think it’d be great to start one. This is open to those in Yonkers, Bronx or White Plains, etc. All the best, hope to hear from some of you great mother’s out there.
