I have a male German Shepherd mix (Jeff) about 3 years old. We adopted him from the shelter and he’s a spectacular dog, however, he doesn’t do well with cats. He can be good with adult cats that like dogs already while in the house. Outside the house he is on the hunt and is a bit aggressive with them. He has not caught one yet, but I am pretty certain they would be dinner if he did. Unfortunately, because of this issue we are not able to keep him. I have tried to work with him on it but have not been successful. We do have a cat that he gets along with really with, but that is the only one. We live in the country and have stray cats and neighbors cats that come over frequently and I am worried about what will happen to them. I cannot keep him inside all the time and I cannot keep them away either. Jeff is potty trained, up to date on his shots, neutered and microchipped. We are asking a small rehoming fee of $50 to make sure he goes to a good home.
