Currently CECOS Group has an opening for a four Marine Construction laborer positions for a project supporting the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) in Morehead City, NC. Candidates must have two years of relevant construction experience background in marine construction preferred. Federal government experience is a plus. Pay: From $15.00 per hour (40+ per week), will increase based on experience. Benefits: Health, vision, dental, paid time off, 401K. Responsibilities • Concrete demolition. • Perform concrete spall repairs. • Build wooden baseplates and concrete forms. • Assist dive team with the installation of pile jacket systems. • Operation of excavator, forklift, concrete line pump and work boat. Skills • Experience as a construction worker. • Comfortable working over the water and around heavy equipment. • Knowledge of construction principles and methods. • Experience in operating power tools. • Positive working attitude and able to work on a team. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Current valid driver’s license (REAL ID) or federally issued identification. • First Aid and CPR certification preferred. • OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
