Hiring for a Moving Helper/Laborer

This is a part time position that can lead to a permanent position if you are the right candidate. Most jobs are 4 hours or less. You will be loading/unloading customers belongings to/from home/truck. We only load/unload 26-foot trucks or smaller, no semi-tractor trailers. Most jobs start at 8am finishing by noontime. There is additional work available if so desired. Starting pay is $13 per hour. Expectations: • 6 Day work week – NO Sundays • Daily Work Availability 6am – 6pm • Able to work overtime when/if required • MUST be able to pass a drug test and background check • MUST have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from work • Eligible to get on Fort Campbell military post as needed • MUST be punctual, dependable, and honest • Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential • Ride with driver to customer’s residence to complete jobs Responsibilities: • Responsible for handling customer’s items with caution and care • Responsible for moving/loading/unloading items on/off trucks • Moving valuable items such as appliances, beds, furniture, office equipment, boxes, etc. Qualifications: • Must be able to lift and carry up to 150 lbs. • Must be able to utilize a 2-wheel dolly • Must be able to stand, bend, lift, walk, and climb stairs continuously • Must be able to lift, carry and move heavy items repetitively until the job is complete • Must demonstrate good communication skills and work as a team player • No experience is necessary but being a mover does require a can-do customer service attitude….
