Happy Steps has two spots opening! My small group, in-home preschool is now enrolling for fall! Our play groups are smaller and calmer than a center's, which young children thrive on. Our cozy, structured atmosphere also helps their attachment styles form in healthier and more stable ways. Emotional stability, well-being, empathy, friendships, and creative play are prioritized at Happy Steps. Our program has two large playrooms, full of play/activity centers, a big fenced backyard for daily outdoor play, a small garden that we all work in, and a garage "gym" for too-rainy days (we provide rain suits and rain boots for not-too-rainy days). We provide an excellent, stimulating, and supportive curriculum of fun and educational activities (writing, reading, basic Spanish, music, art, counting and math, and so much more), daily indoor and outdoor activities, wholesome and mostly organic meals, and attentive, consistent, and nurturing socio-emotional support to our group of children.  I've been providing high quality care and teaching children for 20 years, now. I also have my degree with an extra emphasis on child development, education, and family studies.
