Work indoors and outdoors at beautiful Independence Grove helping our team get setup for all types of special events. Depending on the day this job can include things like driving a golf cart, setting up tables and chairs, moving equipment around the park, and many other active tasks. Job Description: The houseman is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of any venue rooms, hallways, storage and service areas. The houseman sets-up and breaks down all the venue operations. Position Hours: Flexible hours offered Required Skills:  Ability to communicate effectively  Ability to work in a fast-pace environment  Ability to lift between 40-80 pounds  Ability to sit, stand, bend, walk for long periods of time  Ability to set-up banquet spaces including tables, chairs, china, glasses, flatware and napkins Duties and Responsibilities: -Complete all room set-up and break downs -Keep work areas clean and organized -Clean designated areas in preparation for venue operations -As needed: vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, replace lightbulbs, replenish bathroom supplies -Maintain inventory of venue supplies as assigned -Adhere to the work schedule Other Descriptive Information: Job Types: Part-time Language:  English and/or Spanish This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
