We are looking for a talented, experienced, professional, landscape/softscape crew leader (foreman) to join our award-winning team. We also have openings for experienced hardscape crew leaders, hardscape and softscape installers, as well as laborers. Restorff's is a design-build landscape construction company that does limited maintenance work. Restorff's has been in business for 34 years. You will have some of the most modern and efficient tools and equipment, including a UniLyft, a mini excavator that fits through a 38” gate, multiple skid steers, a switch-n-go truck, a 20” block saw mounted on a utility trailer, and many others. • Respect – you will have a say in the equipment type and the trucks we purchase for our crews. • Standard season is March 15 to December 15, weather dependent. Responsibilities: Softscape Crew Leader • Oversee landscape laborers and assign their tasks. • Work with a crew to install landscape plantings for residential and commercial projects. • Grade and install sod and seed lawns. • Spring and Fall Clean-Up jobs. • Operate mini-excavator, skid steer, mini-skid steer, and most other types of equipment used in the landscape industry. • Make sure that all equipment is used appropriately and that requests for maintenance or repair are forwarded in a timely manner. • Follow proper horticultural procedures. Must have knowledge of plant material including ability to identify plants and how to take care of them. • Accurately complete work orders for time and materials used on projects. Qualifications: • 2 - 3 years working on a landscape crew with supervisory experience, or 2 year degree in ornamental horticulture and 1 year experience on a landscape crew OR CNLP with 2 years of experience on a landscape crew • Working knowledge of all aspects of landscape plantings. • Clean driver's license required. • Hardscape knowledge is a plus, but not necessary. Wages and Benefits: • $25.00 to $30.00 per hour for well qualified candidate, bonuses, and benefit package based on experience. Other openings: Landscape Construction / Hardscape Crew Leader Responsibilities: Oversee landscape laborers and assign their tasks. Work with the crew to install high quality hardscape projects. Landscape installation and construction projects including Unilock pavers and walls, natural stone walls and patios, outdoor kitchens, water gardens, landscape planting, grading, and lawn installation. Bobcat and mini-excavator operation. Prioritize job tasks to complete them on schedule. Make sure all equipment is used appropriately and requests for maintenance or repair are forwarded in a timely manner. Follow proper horticultural procedures. Qualifications: 2 to 3 years experience on a landscape construction crew OR 2 year degree in ornamental horticulture and 1 year experience on a landscape construction crew. Working knowledge of all aspects of hardscape installation from start to finish. Proven ability to complete projects on time and within budget. Ability to operate skid steer and mini-excavator efficiently and effectively Ability to arrive on time and ready to work every day. Clean driver's license required. Wages and Benefits: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour for well qualified candidate. Landscape Laborer Responsibilities: Follow instructions of landscape crew leader or installer to complete landscape construction projects. Landscape installation and construction projects including Unilock pavers and walls, water gardens, landscape planting, grading, lawn installation Bobcat operation. Follow proper horticultural procedures. Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with experience on a landscape construction crew. Will train responsible, hard-working individuals. Must be over 18 years of age. Ability to arrive on time and ready to work every day. Clean driver's license needed. Wages and Benefits: Competitive salary and benefit package based on experience. Typically starting at $17 per hour and up for a well qualified laborer; $16 per hour for an inexperienced laborer. Year-end bonus Employee referral bonus
