Cobra Carbide has been in the carbide cutting tool manufacturing business since 1989 catering to defense, aerospace, medical automotive and industry. Our facility is located in Riverside CA and we are looking for a full-time packaging person to assist in the picking, packing and shipping of our sales orders. Job Description: This position serves as on-site labor in the shipping/logistics area of the warehouse including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, stocking, labeling, inventory accuracy, cycle counting and computer transaction entry. The focus of this position is to provide shipping services to the client with their parts and inventory needs including: receiving stock, issuing materials, locating and verifying inventory by utilizing all resources necessary to perform this function. Duties and Responsibilities include: - Shipping and receiving freight via UPS, Fed Ex and other carriers. - Loading and unloading pallet sized freight. - Labeling, packaging and preparing orders for shipment. - Order Pulling - Use of Pallet Jacks - Performing physical tasks - lifting up to 75 lbs. - Maintaining, cleaning and keeping warehouse and work areas clean and organized. - Ability to multitask and perform duties with accuracy. Experience/Qualifications: - No experience required, but prefer 6 months or more experience in a warehouse based environment; will train the right person. - Self-Motivated and works well in a team environment - Able to work with a diverse group of employees - Fast learner This is a full-time position working 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday - Friday.
