Responsibilities We are currently seeking 22 energetic and highly motivated individual(s) to join our team as Lead Janitor, Janitor and Day Porter. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on long term employment ( short term also available) in various buildings managed by our company around downtown Atlanta. The Janitor / Day Porter will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing various areas.... Perform general clean up of all areas of the building as directed Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lot Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped Troubleshoot issues with HVAC system, lighting and indoor climate control as necessary ( Lead Janitor ) Required Qualifications High school diploma/GED required Basic math skills. Ability to manage your time efficiently. Capacity to take direction or /and follow written instructions Strong attention to detail Ability to work well under minimal supervision Handle basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning and other janitorial work. Able to use basic cleaning equipment and supplies safely Willingness to work early morning midday or evening shifts (or min of two options) Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
