Available to incoming 7th graders through outgoing 8th graders. ***TO REGISTER for SUMMER PROGRAM, there are TWO steps:1. Complete the "Registration and Permission Slip" form. More DETAILS about THIS YEAR'S program:WHO: Moore Public Schools' Native American "Junior High" students. These are students who will be starting 7th grade, those who will be in 8th grade, and those who will be in 9th grade for the 2021-2022 school year.WHAT: Moore Public Schools' Native American Education Summer Program, "Native Passages". This year, we have three days of Field Trips planned for our students. WHERE: Meet at Moore Public Schools Administration Building, 1500 SE 4 Street to load buses. We will go to: The Western Heritage Museum, The OKC Zoo & The OKC National MemorialWHEN: June 9-11, 2021, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, Thursday and Friday WHY: We focus on the transitional times of beginning Junior High and beginning High School with this group of Native American students. We hope students will build friendships with other Native students and enjoy social, academic and cultural enrichment activities. *Space is limited, so please complete registration TODAY. Lunch will be provided through MPS Summer Food Program. Students may also choose to bring a sack lunch. By registering, students and families agree to make all efforts to attend each day and participate in all events. *This activity is open only to students who will be entering 7th grade through students who will be entering 9th grade in the Fall for the 2021-2022 school year.
