Chieftain Masonry is now seeking three new crew members. Positions available are for a Journeyman foreman and laborers. Position 1- Title: Journeyman foreman Industry: Concrete Construction Base yard location: Mt. View, HI Qualifications: 5 years construction experience. Pay: Based on experience. Will be cash only. Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Saturday Requirements: • Must have personal vehicle. • Must be clean. Job Description: The Construction Foreman must be capable of independently running a job with given instruction. You must have knowledge consisting of forming house foundations, reading plans, grading, and rebar as well as owning your own basic construction hand tools (hammer, trowel, etc.). This position requires long, laborious, and unpredictable hours that will be compensated for. Responsibilities: The Construction Foreman is responsible for daily production planning, overseeing site, and executing each job with the proper safety precautions while producing a high production rate. Each project will be monitored according to plans, specs, and instructions of customer. Position 2 & 3- Title: Concrete laborer Industry: Concrete Construction Base yard location: Mt. View, HI Qualifications: Some concrete construction experience. Pay: Based on experience. Will be cash only. Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Saturday Requirements: • Must have personal vehicle. • Must be clean. Job Description: As a laborer you must be able to work in a quick paced environment, follow directions accordingly, and work in all types of weather conditions. You should have previous experience forming, pouring concrete, grading, rebar, etc. You must also expect to work long, laborious, and unpredictable hours which will be compensated for.
