In this class, students will paint a rendition of one of Frida's self-portraits using acrylic paint Frida Kahlo is one of the most recognizable artists from the 20th century. Her self-portraits have left an enduring legacy that continues to inspire artists to paint her image. In this class, students will paint a rendition of one of her self-portraits using a tracing technique to transfer her image and create an acrylic painting. Ideal for beginner students as well as the seasoned art maker who wants to hone their skills. All materials and supplies are included.Pamela Sue Johnson is a local artist and art instructor known for her engaging style. She says her favorite students are those who think they can't make art.
