TruDC Annual Memorial Day Rose Drop Ceremony TruDC Family, As you may remember, TruDC started its annual Rose Drop Ceremony in 2018 on Memorial Day, inspired by TruSD's initiative at Rosecrans National Cemetery. With more and more of us who are getting fully vaccinated, we want to invite our members, who feel comfortable to join us this year, on Memorial Day, to pay our respects to the fallen service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The #TruMemorial Rose Ceremony will take place on Memorial Day at: Alexandria National Cemetery We’ll hear from veterans and frontline civilians from our community Jon Margolick - Truman National Security Project EVP (veteran) Becky Zimmerman - DASD for Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Central Asia (frontline civilian) Jimmy Anderson - Special Assistant to the Secretary of the VA (veteran) Lourdes Tiglao - TruDC Co-Director (veteran) They'll share their stories about the meaning of Memorial Day from their own unique perspectives. We'll leave a few min at the end to allow for some open reflections if any of you feel moved to share.  We'd love for you to come join us for the ceremony and bring our community together for this event.
