Lend a hand to help 700+ animals. Your labors will be rewarded by a sanctuary tour and vegan snacks with VINE Sanctuary staff. We're so excited to announce our first on-site public event since the COVID lockdowns began. Lend a hand to help VINE Sanctuary spruce up the barns, coops, yards, and pastures inhabited by more than 700 animals, including chickens, cows, ducks, sheep, turkeys, goats, geese, emus, and more! Your labors will rewarded with a sanctuary tour followed by vegan snacks with sanctuary staff. If you're up for it, stick around for an "afterparty" hike to the back pasture led by sanctuary cofounder pattrice jones. This event will be outdoors and socially distanced, but we will ask that you wear a mask if you are not fully vaccinated. While our on-site programs for younger children will resume this summer, this event is limited to attendees aged 13 and up. We will send you instructions and tips the day before the event. Please arrive on time, so that you will be present to hear the safety talk given by the head of our animal care team. You will be mingling with out nonhuman community members throughout the event, so this is essential for your own well-being and theirs.
