Six Pack S.T.E.M. Week is a six-day STEM program introducing kids to the fundamentals of technology and computer science.
For one hour each day, students will take a journey through the STEM concepts and structures associated with computers and computer use in our everyday lives. Participants will learn the basics of code through Braille and Morse code, observe how electricity works and its role in binary code, build their own circuits and telegraph machines, identify the guts of a computer, and design their own computer algorithms. They will also be introduced to associated STEM jobs and career paths, with a focus on those available in our local community.
Ages 11-13
Registration is for the entire 6-day program!
