Carpentry Assistant Requirements and Qualifications: § Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle. • One or more years of experience in construction with knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction. • Ability to lift heavy equipment. • Excellent stamina. • Ability to work in a team environment or independently as needed. § Proficiency using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement tools. § Solid math skills. § Dependable and strong work ethic. Skilled Carpenter Duties and Responsibilities: § Provide own tool belt with industry standard tools. All others supplied by company. § Work in a professional and courteous manner with co-workers and clients. § Plan out and perform project tasks in an organized and efficient manner to optimize productivity and minimize waste. § Use all tools, power equipment and staging in a safe manner. § Comply with safety guidelines at all times. § Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. § Maintain an open dialogue with managers and supervisors regarding needs, issues or concerns during the course of a project. § Protect and secure all materials, tools and equipment on job sites and in company vehicles. Preferred High school diploma or equivalent
