Independently owned diesel repair shop located in Galesburg, MI. We specialize in diagnosing, repairing and building diesel semi tractor engines. Caterpillar engines are our primary focus but also work on Cummins and Detroit Diesels. This position primary responsibility will be keeping the shop clean and organized. Our ideal candidate would need to work independently and be able to fully complete the tasks given with little guidance. Ideal for high school or college students, and retired individuals who are hard working and not afraid to get a little dirty. Other responsibilities include but not limited to the following: • Organizing and putting away incoming parts • Cleaning parts • Sandblasting • Driving to get parts (using shop truck) from Grand Rapids/Detroit/Indiana when needed • Light lawn care maintenance around shop and primary residence • Any other miscellaneous tasks needed by the owner Requirements: • Valid Driver's License • Ability to operate forklift, or comfortable learning to operate • Ability to stand for long periods daily • Ability to lift in up to 40 lbs as needed • Availability Monday - Friday, with typical hours somewhere between 7am and 6pm, room for some flexibility to accommodate school needs, etc, specific schedule can be discussed during interview SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY - DO NOT EMAIL, Please Call @ 269- 2 one 7 - one 5 seven 5
