Celebrate spring with teaching artist Ricky Singh as we creatively paint plant pots! Spring is the perfect time for colorful plants around the home for the entire family to enjoy. This special Family First workshop is during our Community Opening, during which guests can experience our new exhibition, as well as many different programs that activate nearly the entire building on June 5th. During the Planter Painting workshop led by muralist Ricky Singh, each participant will use acrylics and paint markers to paint a 6-inch terracotta potter in vibrant colors and abstract patterns that reflect the best of spring! Following painting the pots, participants can take them home to highlight their favorite plant. This workshop is open to all ages and experience levels. Purchase of 1 ticket is good for one guest's pot, and includes all other supplies. Masks are required for non-vaccinated participants.
