SHARON, MA — The Town of Sharon is seeking applicants for a full-time Senior Clerk in the Assessors Office and asking qualified candidates to submit their resume by Tuesday, May 25.
The required qualifications for the position include a high school diploma with a minimum of one to three years of office administration experience, a general knowledge of property appraisal principles and practices, and highly accurate data entry and record keeping skills.
Responsibilities and duties will include accurately entering building permits into a CAMA software system, preparing property abutters lists, processing motor vehicle excise abatements, providing customer service to residents by phone, email, and in-person, and prepare relevant office mailings.
The starting salary for the position is $45,735 and will increase to $46,420 on July 1.
