Horse facility in SE Austin hiring a stable assistant. Job duties include some cleaning of stalls, turning well mannered horses in/out, feeding and watering horses. Days needed are both Saturday and Sunday. PT hourly available. This position does not include or require riding or working with horses beyond basic handling. Candidates must be responsible, dependable, have a positive attitude and be able to maintain communication with the rest of the barn staff. Position is physically demanding but low stress. Beautiful outdoor work environment and great clients, work around animals. References required, preference to candidates with equine experience or equestrian references.
