CBS New York May 23, 2021 The search for a man who disappeared in the water off Far Rockaway is expected to resume Sunday. Police said a witness reported seeing the man who was yelling for help near Beach 17th Street and Boardwalk around 9 p.m. Saturday. The FDNY and NYPD launched search units into the water and helicopters were seen flying overhead. The search was suspended around 10:45 p.m. Saturday.
