RENTON, WA — Renton High School is inviting all students 12 and older, along with their families, to come down and get vaccinated Tuesday afternoon. The Pfizer vaccine will be on hand for the school clinic, with doses administered by the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority. Families can make appointments online and find parental consent forms using the Signetic scheduling tool. As of Monday evening, nearly 400 appointments were still available. As of Monday, more than 70 percent of King County residents 12 and older had received at least one dose, and 56.5 percent were fully vaccinated, meaning two weeks past their final dose. Overall immunization rates in Renton and South King County are a bit lower than the average, and thousands are still in need of a dose.
