Press release from Albuquerque Public Schools: May 24, 2021 APS Title I Family Engagement will provide a book bag of quality children's literature, reading strategies, lesson ideas, and parent "tip-sheets" for families reading at home.  Book bags will be distributed Mondays-Thursdays June 7-July 15 at a number of summer lunch meal sites in the City of Albuquerque External link  and Bernalillo County External link . Teachers will distribute one bag per vehicle until they run out. Grab and Go lunch is served Monday-Friday. Times vary by site.  The aim of Story Time in the Park is to support families so they can guide their children toward reading proficiency and a life-long joy of reading.
