GREENWICH, CT — Police arrested a 49-year-old woman last Saturday after metal knuckles and several grams of marijuana were found in her vehicle during a traffic stop.
According to police, Migdalia Medina, of Stamford, was pulled over in the area of Sound Shore Drive around 1 p.m. on May 22 after she traveled through a red light off the southbound off-ramp at exit 4 on I-95.
Officers detected the smell of marijuana coming from her Acura MDX. A probable cause search of Medina's car found black metal knuckles and 7.1 grams of "a green leafy substance in a Ziploc bag", later identified as marijuana.
Medina admitted the items belonged to her and she was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, and possession of a controlled substance - less than a half ounce of cannabis.
Medina was assigned a $200 bond and was subsequently released without incident, police said.
