All individuals arrested or charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. REPORTS ROBBERY, 2021-05200181, N. Westmoreland Street at 19th Street N. At approximately 8:21 p.m. on May 20, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the juvenile victim was walking in the area when the unknown male suspect approached him and grabbed his cellphone out of his hand. A struggle ensued, during which the suspect forcibly removed the cell phone from the victim's hand. The suspect fled the scene in a black pick-up truck with two other occupants prior to the arrival of police. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 6'3" tall, 17 – 18 years old, wearing a red jacket, jeans and a surgical mask. The two suspects in the black pick-up truck are described as Black males, approximately 17 – 18 years old. The investigation is ongoing. MISSILE INTO OCCUPIED DWELLING, 2021-05190258, 900 block of S. Buchanan Street. At approximately 11:08 p.m. on May 19, police were dispatched to the report of a destruction of property. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim and known suspect had been involved in a verbal dispute earlier in the day. At approximately 11:00 p.m., the victim and a witness heard two bangs and saw that two windows had been shattered. The victim went outside to investigate and observed the known suspect and three additional suspects enter into a vehicle and flee the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
