PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Police on May 7 arrested a Prince George's County Public Schools teacher on charges of assaulting someone in a Virginia park, WTOP reported. Journalist Glynis Kazanjian identified that the accused instructor as 47-year-old Michael Pruden of Fort Washington.
Police alleged that Pruden committed the assault at Daingerfield Island near Alexandria, Virginia, WTOP noted. Officers accused Pruden of hitting a male with a stick and pepper-spraying him, Kazanjian added.
WTOP explained that PGCPS put Pruden on administrative leave on May 11. Kazanjian wrote that the teacher has been with PGCPS since 2014 and taught at:
