Come and enjoy the Lewistown First Friday. Metaphysics will have specials and deals - and details about of Herkimer mining trip. JUNE FIRST FRIDAY IN LEWISTOWN AT: Metaphysics ' A Spirited Space' Come one and all to Lewistown PA and see all the cool sights and sounds of our great town. There will be lots to see and do throughout the whole of the town. At Metaphysics ' A Spirited Space' we are doing : THE HIKE TO HERKIMER Have you ever wanted to mine minerals? Adventure into the great outdoors and prospect for gems? Spend hours digging through the dirt and rock to find treasure? We Did - so we outfitted an expedition to the Adirondacks and got down and dirty. WE at the shop and a few additional people took a several day expedition to Herkimer NY to mine the World Famous Herkimer Diamonds. We were successful and brought home a nice selection of specimens for adoption. We will have several members of the expedition on hand to talk Herks, discuss the adventure, give tips and tricks for mining, share what we found, and discuss how you too can adventure of to find your own buried treasure! WE will additionally have some in store specials and deals on first Friday from open to close. Tickets through Eventbrite are just to try to gauges interest, so we can ensure we have proper social distancing protocols in place. There is plenty of street parking as well as ample FREE parking in the lot behind the shop.
