Friday, June 11th @7PM come and enjoy the arts - Caribbean Film, Art, Books and Dance. Caribbean Community in Philadelphia will hosts it's annual Caribbean Film Screening at PASSi Evergreen Center. Culture Clash is our featured documentary by award-winning film maker, Jean-Rene Rinvil, a Haitian native. He has won three awards for this revealing young Caribbean Americans riveting interviews with identity and acculturation in America. Caribbean Art will be on display and Caribbean Authors, featured will be Terry Lee-Barrett, author and screenwriter of 'Kata the Thorn Iron' book. We will be entertained by a Haitian dance performance as we maintain our social distance. June is National Caribbean American Heritage Month and the celebration of all parts of our culture and our contribution to America.
