We are looking to add a general handyman/maintenance worker to our facilities team. YOUR ROLE You are someone who is looking to utilize and grow your skills in maintenance work for a stable company working amongst great people in a fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to our Facility Manager, you will assist in the routine maintenance, diagnosis of issues and repair of our facilities. You will work from our Seattle headquarters in SODO (parking included free). Your new job with us is full-time and anticipated to be Monday through Friday during business hours. YOUR COMPENSATION Your compensation will depend on your experience but will likely be between $19-23/hour. You will receive your base wage plus you’ll participate in our quarterly company profit sharing program, which has recently averaged over 10 % of annual wages. SPECIFIC TASKS Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain company’s facilities Work with Facility Manager and the Maintenance Team to conduct Preventative Maintenance (as scheduled/required) Solve equipment issues in economical and safe fashion Perform other duties as requested by Facility Manager YOUR SKILLS Been there, done that - Experience in building maintenance, including some automotive maintenance, is preferred Versatile – Skilled in general building maintenance and small engine repair Problem Solver – Works with limited technical guidance Safety First – You stay updated on safety protocols and adhere to same Communicator – Strong communicator with all members of the team Detailed – Excellent attention to detail Make good choices – You use great judgment in all that you do You will also need a valid drivers’ license to assist in parts runs.
