Help Wanted. Local horse rancher needs strong, honest, hard working general labor workers to help cleanup and maintain local area country horse ranch property, and also to help organize, cleanup and consolidate several private storage units in the Oakdale CA 95361 area. Work is not particularly difficult, but it is very physical and labor intensive,… so no lazy, weak or dishonest people should inquire,… and no unnecessary B.S. will be tolerated. Workers must be able to stand and work on your feet for several hours straight, easily lifting 40-75 pounds regularly (and sometimes require moving 100 pound hay bales). Workers must be able to follow simple instructions, multi-task activities, finish assignments promptly, and complete projects without constant direct supervision. We typically pay $15 per hour, paid weekly on Friday, and 1099’s will ultimately be issued. Actual hours and days worked are based on our current project needs, your experience and your personal productivity. Experience in ranch and farm maintenance is a big plus, however, no prior experience is necessary, and we will consider training the right person. This is a part-time gig, and work hours and work days can be flexible, for the right person. Once you prove you can handle the work and complete jobs successfully, we will then discuss future All workers should be strong and physically able to handle lots of walking, bending, stacking and lifting. Workers should be familiar with using basic hand and power tools like shovels, rakes, chainsaws, post hole digger, hammers, drills, saws, tape measure, dolly, pallet jack, etc.. Past experience in mechanical, electrical, yard cleanup, tree cutting, fences & shelving building, working with horses or dogs, are all a big plus. The work can sometimes by quite physical, you will get dirty, and you must wear suitable work shoes and clothing everyday, We need help immediately (for up to possibly 3 workers) for the next 3-6 weeks or so. Each person will be evaluated daily on their personal work performance, and we will consider the best 1 or 2 workers for possible regular independent 1099 work going forward,… in which case you will pretty much be able to set your own work days and hours. Again, please don’t apply if you are lazy, physically weak, or untrustworthy, as you will be dismissed immediately. This is a very straight forward, no-nonsense position, so no B.S. will be tolerated. Work hours and days can be flexible, but you must show up on time, and ready to work.
