Join the Bellevue Club and Hotel team. Our dynamic property, located on the Eastside, includes a 250,000-square-foot fitness facility, three restaurants, a full-service spa and 66-room boutique hotel. The Bellevue Club Facilities Department is seeking dedicated and dependable Maintenance Engineer I to join the team. This is a full-time position, but part-time may be considered. Shifts are Tuesday-Saturdays 2:30pm to 10:00pm. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: • Read and generates facilities request forms and prioritizes maintenance and repair work. Responds immediately to emergency maintenance needed. • Identify, troubleshoot and diagnose problems with boiler systems, electrical and electronics, fire alarms, heating, ventilation and HVAC, safety and other complex systems. • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on major pieces of equipment, including generator, air compressors, air handlers, fans, pumps, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and exercise equipment. Record keeping of all PM’s and schedules. • Carpentry Knowledge: Build shelves and ramps, repairs furniture and basic structures throughout the facility. Install and taping of sheetrock, floor repair, window, doors, woodwork and basic construction framing. • Plumbing Knowledge: Basic boiler knowledge. Ability to repair leaks, replace faucets, replace gaskets and seals, sweat copper pipes, PVC, diagnose heating and cooling problems, clear traps and drains. Coordinates major plumbing repairs with outside vendors. • Electrical Knowledge: Repairs existing light fixtures, replaces ballasts, contacts and outlets. May design and/or install various systems including basic AC/DC power, control systems, and audio/visual systems. Coordinates major electrical repairs with outside vendors. • Perform repairs on mechanical equipment throughout the facility such as air conditioning, heating, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, exercise and laundry equipment. Troubleshoot equipment and coordinates major mechanical repairs with outside vendors. • Adjust chemistry for pools and fountains and must have working knowledge of equipment. • Operate a motor vehicle. Utilize the Club van to travel to vendors to purchase parts and/or equipment required to complete maintenance duties. • Operate a personal computer to access information regarding scheduling and maintenance reports.
