Bassist looking to jam Acid Jazz Funk/Soul music

I'm a Sacramento bassist (33 year old male) seeking a drummer, keyboard player, guitarist and even saxophonist to get together and start a group where we could hopefully work on some ideas and create songs, maybe even do covers. I'm looking to create music in the same vein as Jamiroquai, Kamaal Williams, Yussef Kamaal, Vels Trio, Tom Misch, Joe-Armon Jones, Herbie Hancock (headhunters)etc. I'm definitely not the most technical but am comfortable with laying down a groove and solid bass lines. Been playing on and off for around 15 years. Not so sure where this will lead but wanted to put it out there and see if anyone is interested in playing together and seeing where this will go. I have a rehearsal space that we could use to practice. Ideally I'd like to meet up once a week or twice a month.
