Press release from Village of Evergreen Park: May 24, 2021 The ideal candidate will have a proven record of community volunteerism and activism.  Candidates must have resided in Evergreen Park for at least one year prior to appointment and meet the legal requirements to take the Oath of Office. The Board of Trustees have an active, year-long meeting schedule.  Trustees' responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following;  assigned as a liaison to a minimum of two Village boards or commissions;  participation at annual meetings, budget meetings, strategic planning, and fall and spring updates to the board.  The Village also promotes events throughout the year where elected officials interact with the residents, and also attend community and civic events of behalf of the Village.
