EVANSTON, IL — The high school seniors of 2021 have had an experience like no other in a century — a year upended by a pandemic and by lockdowns that kept them from enjoying many of the activities that previous seniors have taken for granted. Patch hopes to help make it up to those seniors by giving them a special sendoff. We asked parents and other family members to pay tribute to this year's grads using a special submission form so we can publish those tributes one by one. Evanston student Asher Hoeveler will graduate this year. Plans after graduation: Asher will be pursuing a career in the tech field. Accomplishments: Asher was an active member of the Youth Tech Corp where he showed great leadership and skill. Special message: We are so proud of you. You persevered through the weirdest educational path. Along the way, you found an amazing friend group thanks to your openness and loyalty; you discovered your strengths; and you will achieve your goals. Take your time.
