Description
BERKELEY, CA — Berkeley is readying to open three public libraries for limited in-person services soon.
The Berkeley Public Library announced on its Facebook page last week that the North, West and Central branches will be the first to open.
The North branch will open on Friday, and the West and Central branches on June 7 and 15.
The indoor service hours will be from 2 to 6 p.m.
The BPL will continue offering outdoor pickup at four locations.
"Staff teams are continuing to make plans for providing more indoor access to our locations," the BPL wrote on its Facebook page.
"The teams are working in coordination with the City of Berkeley, Labor Unions and Public Health."
