Forms+Surfaces is looking for an Assembly Technician to join our team! As an Assembly Technician, and part of our Phoenix manufacturing team, you will assemble a wide variety of products - from elevator doors, ceilings to light planes and hardware - following blueprints, job orders, and drawings that accompany each piece. Primary Responsibilities: Assemble a variety of products per blueprints, drawings, & job orders.Retrieve/organize parts for assembly.Operate variety of tools such as stud welder, saws, hand held routers, grinders, drills, hammers, measuring tape, calipers and various other hand tools.Reviews work orders for assembly sequence and maintains record of production.Ensure a safe environment by keeping a clean and organized work environment.Work 10-12 hour shifts and/or Saturday availability.Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Knowledge and training of the use of power tools and hand toolsAbility to read and understand blueprints, drawings, & job ordersExperience with mechanical assembly is preferredMust be able to accurately use tape measure/ruler and have strong attention to detailMust be able to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.Must be able to bend, stand reach, pull, lift and carry items in the warehouseAble to work overtime and/or weekends when neededMaintain an excellent attendance record We offer competitive compensation and benefits, and the opportunity to progress in an environment that encourages your growth, advancement, and payrate through our CareerTrak program.
