Alaska Steel Company is looking for independent energetic workers for our open warehouse positions. We have Day shift and afternoon shifts available. Shift differential for afternoon shift. Monday thru Friday normal work week 40 hrs. minimum. Mandatory OT and Saturdays as needed Alaska Steel Company has been in business for over 35 years and is a key supplier of metal goods for all industries within the State of Alaska. We service the oil industry, mining, commercial and residential construction as well as walk in customers. Alaska Steel has statewide coverage with branches in multiple locations and top of the line processing equipment. Your duties will include but not limited to working with a crew shipping, and receiving steel and aluminum. You will be expected to be able to safely climb on and off of Flat bed trailers and Rail cars, stocking material as well and organizing and completing all paperwork. We are looking for an energetic individual with organizational skills and that understands Customer service is key to a successful team.
