Currently seeking Furniture Installation Technicians for a great opportunity in the Twin Cities. The company is a renowned office furniture and interior design company, headquartered in Minnesota. The work will take place at client sites throughout the Minneapolis-Saint Paul, MN metropolitan area. Previous experience would be awesome, but all you need is a strong work ethic with a willingness to learn in order to apply for this job and to grow into a great crew member. Responsibilities of the Furniture Installer: • Deliver, install, set up and repair new office furniture. • Assist in receiving the product, verify box and packing slip counts, and inspect the product for freight or any visible damage. • Document receipt and any damage on bills of lading and packing slips. • Follows and applies company procedures for freight claim documentation and process. • Ensure that required products, equipment, tools and supplies are on board for daily deliveries. • Ensure furniture is loaded into trucks in delivery sequence and is padded, strapped, tied-down, balanced and secured so that no damage will occur during the trip to a client's site. • Operate a straight or cube delivery truck safely while obeying all traffic rules and being courteous to other drivers on the road. • Perform various warehouse responsibilities. Requirements of the Furniture Installation Technician: • Previous related experience • Clean driving record • Mechanically inclined • Self-starter with a positive attitude • Work independently with a sense of urgency to get work done • A stable/consistent work history and reliable transportation • Must have good physical agility and the ability to learn new things and absorb information • Attention to Safety and Compliance • Professional with good communication and customer service skills Compensation for the Furniture Installation Technician: Full-time Salary: starting at $18.00 /hour Pre-employment background check Will be given a 90-day evaluation Click here to apply: Email: [email protected] Call: 612-888-9653
