Allied Forces Temporary Services is currently hiring Pipe Layers. We have daily or next day pay available. Job Duties and Tasks for: Pipe Layer Pipe layers are responsible for assembling and connecting pipe systems for water mains, sewers, and drains. Pipe layer will cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and benders. Pipe layer will assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints. Pipe layer will align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing. Will measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading. Pipe layers will plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications. Pipe layer will select pipe sizes and types as well as related materials, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to specifications. Cut and bore holes in structures, such as bulkheads, decks, walls, and mains, prior to pipe installation using hand and power tools. Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment. Install automatic controls used to regulate pipe systems. Manages own time effectively, ensuring a maximum amount of productivity. Needs own tools and transportation. Rate of Pay: $28.00 per hour.
