1Yr old Pittie Mix

Description

Hello, I recently fostered a beautiful, sweet young female Pittie Mix, from her owners in SA, whom chose not to exercise her, or love her likes she needs. Her name is Lily. She has been at my house with our 5yr old Pit/Catahoula (Female), our 1yr old Chiweanie (Female), and our 6 month old Mini Daschound (Male), since May 22nd, 2021. She sleeps in a crate and has been whining a little bit before calming down once in there. I believe her previous owners had her chained up way more than appropriate. She is adjusting very well with us. I have walked her around the neighborhood so she knows where we live, and now she has free roam inside/outside the house, (we have no fence) and she sometimes wanders off to explore, and soon comes back to our house. I do this with all of our dogs, so that they never feel contained and they learn to behave when unaccompanied and to be mindful of finding their way back home before too long. Mostly, Lily chooses to stay inside with us and the other dogs. We are looking for owners who want a Pittie Mix, who is adorable, sweet with animals and people, does not bark in aggression or show any signs of fear, and ownsers who ***CARE ENOUGH ABOUT THEMSELVES AND THE PET TO WALK/RUN HER AS MUCH AS SHE WANTS/NEEDS***. If you are unable or unwilling to exercise this small, (30lbs) bundle of sweet playful energy, please avoid responding to this post, unless you know of someone who may enjoy this kind of a responsibility. She has met cats for her first time at our house, and she is responding well to the training we give her to respect their boundaries; but she will need constant attention for the first week if she is to be rehomed with new cats. She has never showed any aggression (to anything, cats, dogs, people, possums) but she is excited and wants to be close to them and may move fast towards them and then chase them if they run away. Again, she is responding well to training in that regard. She is fully vaccinated, with proof is held by me, and given to her prospective parents when a small rehoming fee is paid. At that time, after meeting and deciding that Lily is well suited to her knew adopted parent's home and lifestyle, she will be rehomed along with various useful items for her including a pet bed, food/water bowl, toy, food container, some food, leash, collar, name tag, microchip, flea meds, heartworm meds (at least one month). Crate is optional, and if desired, can be given to her new parents as well. Please Contact Berean five one two eight seven eight three seven 3 five.
