Lost a male cockatiel named Bean on Mother’s Day along with his mate. She was returned yesterday to us through the help of Route 66 emergency vet. Since she has been home she has been calling for him and looking in all of his favorite hang outs. It’s killing me to watch her search for him, knowing she won’t find him here. She is missing him. I and my husband are too. We have been taking care of this little man since he was 2 months old and love him dearly. His mate was found in the South Valley near Rio Rancho, please share this with your friends in that area as well. I understand how sweet and charming and lovable he is, but please, if you or someone you know has found and kept him, please consider how much he means to me and my family and his “wife”. She’s crying for him again as I type this. Any information helps. Information on him: he is very friendly and talkative. If you whistle a catchy tune to him, he will likely come to you. He has one white toenail on his right foot. He is a gray face pied. Not banded unfortunately.
