The job entails watering, fertilizing, weeding, spraying weeds, vermin control and general care of a 14 acre avocado orchard. Feeding cattle daily during feeding season which usually begins Oct-Nov. This candidate must be able to load hay bales weighing from 100lbs to 120lbs. Knowledge of water lines, fence mending and ATV use is required. Experience with cattle and horses a plus. This person would also be weed eating and performing miscellaneous duties around the ranch and construction yard. The job consists of 24 hours per week and may require weekend hours during feeding season. The hourly rate is $20.00. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO HOUSING PROVIDED; CAMPING, RV PARKING, ETC. This employee will participate in a Four Wheel Quad Safety Program and Pesticide Safety Training Program at the employer’s expense. Please e-mail a resumes.
