Need electrician or appliance repair person for old movie projector

I bought a used (there is no other kind) Chinon Super 8 movie projector on ebay. It is not working, and I have a strong suspicion the issue has to do with the 220-110 transformer that came with it and/or the wonky power cord. (The light turns on, but the motor doesn't start.) In any event, I am looking for someone who can figure out if it can be fixed, and if so, take care of fixing it. I can come to you if you're reasonably close to University Heights. If you think you can figure this out, I would love to hear from you BUT PLEASE DO NOT WASTE MY TIME if you don't know what you're doing. You'll be wasting your own time, too.
