MUST HAVE VEHICLE FOR jobs in Salem/Dallas/Aumsville areas. Pettit Staffing seeking candidates interested in temporary assignments as Landscape Installation Helpers for a temporary gig 2-6weeks. Compensation $1/hour to $16/hour and $10/day Bonus when doing jobs outside of Salem **Transportation needed.** **Drug test required for this position** Job Duties as follows: Construct walkways and patios, walls, fences, decks, posts, etc. Dig ditches or trenches and perform land clearing activities Plant and maintain garden beds and lawns Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape construction projects Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning on a daily basis Operate various tools including: chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc. Physical Skills Needed: Lifting, pushing, and pulling are evaluated in terms of both intensity and duration Medium to heavy Lifting, stooping, bending, standing and walking on hard concrete floors for 10 - 12 hours.
