Vehicle Dismantler Needed! Apply Today! Galt Foundation is a non-profit staffing agency. We place candidates in temporary, contract, and long-term assignments working for Government Entities (State, City, County, Metro, etc.) About the position: Weekly schedule: Monday - Friday  Daily schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm Wage: $15.34/HR Location: Salem, OR Duties:  You will remove various emergency equipment from vehicles, such as video systems, radio components, lights, sirens, etc. including cabling. Will also remove push bumpers,  partitions, bed slides, and vaults. You must be able to follow instructions clearly. Be able to label, note, prepare and restock parts.   Must be able to use various hand tools, screwdrivers, wrenches, wire cutters, and power equipment, such as grinders and various cordless tools. Will remove decals from the vehicle. Will possibly be in contact with sharp objects and exposed to biofluids. Safety protection glasses, rubber gloves, masks are mandatory. Requirements:  Excellent Attendance is Required! Must have previous mechanical experience Ability to follow printed directions.  Lift up to 50lbs.  Prior knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools.  Follow privacy and security policy and procedure and maintain patient confidentiality Ask questions when instructions or information is unclear Work collaboratively in a team setting and will contribute to a positive, respectful, and productive work environment Must participate with a criminal background check.
