CONTRACTOR’S ASSISTANT: We’re a Louisville-based home renovation company—McKREE PROPERTIES, LLC We are hiring a CONTRACTOR’S ASSISTANT. This is an entry-level position with possibility for growth. We are looking for engaged, driven, and dedicated people interested in construction. We work primarily with restoring older houses. We create homes, not flips. Our crew is small and busy. You must be able to work well with others while also listening and completing tasks quickly and well with little supervision after initial instruction. Job Duties: Job site maintenance including daily set-up and clean-up, basic framing and trim carpentry, demolition, and assisting the GC and PM as needed. Skill Set: Basic construction experience, an eye for organization, the physical capacity to lift and carry 50+ pounds and comfortably climb tall ladders/work at elevated levels, an ability to take orders and follow through, a curiosity for houses and learning new things, flexible, clean, timely, and a positive attitude and work ethic. Good interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management. Tools: Basic tools, smart phone, car/truck.
