Wichita Tree Service is looking for a crew lead. Pay will be $1500-$4000 per week working 5 days a week. One of our crew leaders made $2,757 last week. This is not uncommon as the same person made over $3200 the week before. This is a commission based job so the better you are at running a tree crew, running equipment and climbing/pruning, or removing trees the more money you will make. Training, and other jobs not done for profit will be paid at an hourly rate. The ideal candidate is a very experienced tree climber, or bucket operator with at least 2-4 years climbing experience. - To be successful at this job you will need to be a great leader and work well with other crew members. -Must have extensive knowledge of safety in regards to working with trees and tree equipment. -Must be a top tier tree climber that doesn't use spikes when pruning and knows how to prune trees properly using ISA and ANSI standards. -SRT climbing is encouraged and allowed at Wichita Tree Service, as well as any commonly used mechanical devices. -ISA arborists will be given preference. -Drivers license required and be able to obtain a CDL class A or B. -Must have own climbing gear. Job will include. -Paid holidays -Paid vacation -Paid sick days. -Paid trips to TCIA and Kansas arborists association conferences. -Paid training for ISA, CTSP, Kansas arborists, TRAQ or any credentials you wish to obtain. -You will find there are many other benefits to working at a small locally owned company as well, although we do not currently have dental or medical benefits. Wichita Tree Service is the largest and fastest growing local tree service in Wichita Kansas. We have a lot of equipment to make the job easier. Each crew will be given a bucket truck (40-75ft), mini skid steer (CTX 100 or 160), dump trailer, and a grapple truck will pick up all your debris. We don't really chip brush much any more but have some chippers if needed. Crews are 3-4 people normally. sometimes more if needed. If you are coming in for a crew lead job you will be involved in the hiring process so you can find a crew that you can work well with. we are also looking for ground help and climbers that would be paid hourly. 316-616-8321
