Ever want to make Silver jewelry and thought it was too difficult to do. I can teach you about Metal Clay a unique form of Metal that consists of microscopic particles of Metal mixed with an organic binder and water that makes it malleable like Clay. It can be rolled shaped carved in any shape or form and once dried it is fired in a kiln. The binder burns off and you are left with a piece of Metal. Comes in all different metals. For this class we will be focusing on Silver Metal Clay as it is the easiest to work with. You will get 20 grams of Clay and 9 grams of Syringe Clay. You will make a Pendant and a pair of earrings. The cost of the class is $250 and includes all the clay and the use of tools templates, cutters and shapes and the use of many different textures. Each student will receive a tool kit to use and at end of class they are welcome to purchase the entire set or individual tools from the kit.
