What you will do The Service Technician II’s main function is to service, repair and install HVAC equipment of all types, provide productivity to the team so as to generate business and income, provide skilled journeyman level work in the installation, replacement, adjustment, repair, and planned maintenance on all levels of HVAC equipment and, to maintain reliable and functionally efficient operations of heating and air conditioning systems. The physical demands for the Service Technician II include but aren’t limited to outdoor work in all climates, some heavy lifting, climbing of ladders and stairs, reaching out, or stretching, turning, twisting, kneeling and bending, working from heights including; ladders, scaffolding, roof tops and aerial lifts, and possible combinations of the above mentioned. How you will do it A Service Technician II will service and install all brands of HVAC equipment including Air handlers, Chillers, Process refrigeration, Oil, Gas and Electric Boilers and Furnaces, troubleshoot, repair and install the listed equipment, writing work orders and job reports, turning in packing slips, time sheets and expense reports along with other pertinent job related documentation in a prompt and orderly fashion, maintain service vehicle, truck stock and tools, report to the supervisor to get advice and/or assignments in order to make the day productive, follow established methods and procedure, use time wisely, find resources for troubleshooting and repairs and understand total systems, work well alone, as well as with others, communicate with customers and fellow employees, and work as a team player. What we look for Required Ability to travel up to 100% of the time Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license Currently possess or have the ability to obtain a Valid Passport for international travel. Johnson Controls will assist in the process if needed.
