Transferring Musical Skills To The Bass Guitar

Howdy, I'm older pro level guitarist transferring skills to the Bass, I own a very decent bass and a small practice bass amp for the time being. I'm fully vaccinated and wondering if they may be other older players around town who would like play some tunes and I can follow on the bass, I'm leaning towards the folk rock, americana styles.
